Starry Night in Lone Tree
This couple splits time between Texas and Colorado. So, settling into their new home in Lone Tree means that they have to choose what stays in Texas, what is moved, and what is purchased new. In addition, the previous owner of their home had a style preference that was markedly different from their own. Now they are faced with changing the paint, light fixtures, window treatments, surfacing materials, built-ins, and more. We will also design a home theater wall to house their giant 62″ plasma and other entertainment equipment. We have a design concept of “Stormy Sky” and will be selecting all of our elements with this concept in mind. Also, inspiring this project is Van Gogh’s masterpiece, “Starry Night”. Therefore, we are planning to use compelling mixtures of blues, burgundys, greys, and taupes accented with with blacks, yellows and oranges. Should be beautiful when it’s complete…
Outfitting a Custom Garage in Castle Rock
Having just moved into a brand new home, a gentleman needs extra space to store all of his belongings, and time is of the essence so that he can give up his expensive off-site storage facilities. He needs space for everything from vintage cars and pinball machines to fishing gear and household tools, not to mention a workbench full of equipment. Starting with a clean slate makes this design simple and straightforward… Lots of open shelving, lots of places to hang things, a lumber rack, and all while keeping safe clearances around the vehicles. Also in the works are a custom, wall-to-wall, solid wood media storage unit for his office, and window treatments for the master bedroom.
Cherry Creek Town Home Re-Design
This project involves re-designing a handful of outdated elements within a beautiful tri-level town home in Cherry Creek North. The challenge of this project is to tastefully update while staying true to the existing design and decor, which is Contemporary Southwest. Specifically, we are tackling the guest bedroom, basement recreation room, family room, dining room, and master bath. The scope of this project includes: re-upholstering a large sectional sofa, two lounge chairs w/ ottomans, four card table chairs, and two bar stools; specifying/purchasing a bedroom set, boudoir chair, entertainment console, coffee table, side table, and large sectional sofa; designing a custom pedestal for sculpture display, and a custom rug; painting 2 rooms to coordinate with the new elements; removing carpet and installing tile; re-arranging/re-hanging artworks and family photos; updating/adding lighting; and significant de-cluttering, organization, and re-accessorizing.
